During the refurbishment of The Lanesborough Hotel in 2015, Grosvenor Film was asked to produce a film to build anticipation and engage key clients with ongoing work. Above all, the objective was to remind customers of the Lanesborough’s signature 5-star service and ultra-luxurious rooms, where the construction and redecoration work would focus on the finest of details.
The resulting film was shot almost entirely with macro lenses, edited together with classical thought-provoking music. Motion graphics were used to convey the story, carefully scripted and matched to the footage, blended in and subtly animated where appropriate.
The film was shared as part of a wider teaser campaign with all of the Lanesborough’s core and returning customers, resulting in a renewed intrigue in the redevelopment of the hotel and a drive to post-opening sales.
